I've used my Logitech Portable Desk for a couple of days now with a 15" MacBook Pro and an old 13" iBook. I hauled it in a backpack to and from work. I've put the mouse tray to task. All in all, I have to say this is by far the best lapdesk I've ever used and at half the price. It's incredibly light and does a great job of keeping the heat off my lap. The surface area is precisely the same size as my MacBook Pro and grips the computer well. There are also non-skid bars on the bottom of the desk that keep it in place.

The mouse tray has a beveled edge that prevents your mouse from slipping off. It's pretty solid for a slide out. Note that if you use the Logitech Portable Lapdesk with a corded mouse, make sure you have a USB port that's not on the same side of the computer you mouse on. There is very little space there and I was forced to use a mouse with a long cable so I could plug it into the other side of my laptop (i.e., I couldn't use my mighty mouse). Most people can get around this with a Bluetooth mouse, unfortunately my employer disables Bluetooth on our company-issued laptops.

Overall this is a great lapdesk that I will recommend to friends and coworkers.

I've had the Belkin laptop stand for about two weeks now, and I've been pleasantly surprised at how effective it has been at channeling the heat away from my laptop. When I opened the box and examined the stand, I thought it looked too flimsy to do any good. Now, I find that I use it all the time. True, the flip-out part does little good and I don't use that, but even when I forget to plug in the fan, this stand still keeps my laptop cooler than before.

My laptop's temperature sensor also tells me that the stand is effective. Prior to getting the stand, the sensor ranged from 44 to 51 degrees (Celsius), depending on what I was doing. With the stand, and with the fan running, the temperature usually stays in the high 30s.

I wish Belkin had recessed the plug and provided a channel for the wire, because I occasionally get it tangled with the laptop power cord. But for the price, it's a good investment.

I have the same problem as another reviewer with my HP laptop and its metallic keyboard. It makes it difficult to see those keys in anything less than direct light.

Enter this LED lamp. The light is small but does the trick. The arm/cord is flexible allowing for any angle you want, and is stiff enough that it stays in place. When you're not using it, coil it up and it takes up very little space.

After replacing my 8 year old Dell Laptop, I looked into this Vaio upon the recommendation of a few friends. I'm not a tech-guy by any stretch, just wanted a solid everyday home laptop with good memory for interent, Itunes, Quickbooks, Skype and some word processing (no gaming) and this laptop absolutely fit the bill! Solid construction, unique and appealing design (case texture is great, shows no fingerprints), comfortable, wide and spacious keyboard, lightning fast-start up and downloads, user-freindly, gorgeous Hi-Def screen, great for watching videos and DVD's, fast CD and DVD burner and an awesome camera for Skyping with friends and family.

For the price (just a shy over $600) and complete with Windows 7, you can't beat it! Battery life is fine too. Unlike some complaints, mine gets just under 3 hours which suits my needs and also charges very fast. I've had freinds that have owned Vaio's years with little to no problems, and now glad to own one myself. If you're looking for a rock solid laptop with style and function, get this one. I'm happy I made this purchase, would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone!

I have owned many other laptops but this one is really special. The price is great, it was delivered to me in a day, and I was online and getting things done in less than half an hour. Easy to use, great keyboard, and I love the number keypad on the side (no need to purchase anything separate if you use the number keys often).
